The State of California Auto Dismantlers Association, also known as SCADA, was founded over 50 years ago to license auto dismantlers, educate them, and help consumers. Currently, SCADA has 200 members. Why is membership in this trade association so vital?

SCADA is not just interested in helping members. It’s also keen on protecting the environment and consumers. The organization recently sponsored a piece of legislation, AB 805, that ensures that any company licensed to operate an auto dismantling business in California must meet stringent tax and environmental protection requirements.
