A LEGACY RECYCLER
The Guasco family's legacy with Santa Rita Garage is a testament to their long-standing dedication to their local community. Starting in 1934 with Marie and Rusty Guasco, they not only ran the garage, recycle yard and tow business but also the Santa Rita Café, making the business a central hub for the Tri-Valley area. Richard Guasco, who grew up around the tow trucks and yard, took over his parent’s business and managed it for over five decades, until it was sold to a father-son duo and later to Bruce and Suzanne Luther.
Under the Luthers’ management, the business thrived for another 28 years. Today, the operation continues to be a family-run business, keeping the spirit of family owned, local ownership alive in Pleasanton, California.

End of Life Vehicle Service
Schedule an ELV Disposal with us. Do you have an unwanted car taking up space? End-of-life vehicle (ELV) disposal refers to the process of responsibly dismantling, recycling, or scrapping a vehicle that is no longer wanted, roadworthy or repairable.
We’ll tow your unwanted vehicle to our location and safely remove hazardous materials, and recycle unusable parts to ensure a minimal enviornmental impact. We take care of all DMV and EPA requirements. Call or fill out our ELV service request to find out more about our ELV service.

Motor Oil Disposal
We are a Certified Collection Center for Motor Oil.
1. Collect Used Oil: Drain used oil into a clean, sealable container.
2. Label: Clearly label the container as “Used Motor Oil” to avoid confusion.
3. Drop-Off: Do not leave curbside, you must leave the oil with us during our business hours.
Improper disposal of motor oil (such as pouring it on the ground, in storm drains, or in household trash) is illegal and environmentally damaging.
